Though not much is known about the upcoming Housefull 5, reports suggest that the film will stay true to the franchise’s signature comedy while adding an intriguing murder mystery twist.
Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 stars Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh, along with a star-studded cast that includes Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chunky Pandey, Johny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Chitrangada Singh, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, and Nikitin Dheer. With so many amazing actors, could they all be suspects in this mystery?

A source recently shared more details, saying, “Housefull 5 is essentially a murder mystery. A murder occurs on the cruise, and every actor in the film becomes a suspect. Two of them play cops, and as they investigate the case, the filmmakers promise plenty of laughter and chaos along the way.”
And the actors playing the cops? The great Jackie Shroff and Sanjay Dutt!
The Housefull franchise, which began in 2010, has been loved for its signature mix of comedy and entertainment. The first film featured a star-studded cast, including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Lara Dutta, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal, Mithun Chakraborty, and Boman Irani. Sequels followed in 2012, 2016, and 2019, each introducing new characters and fresh twists, keeping the franchise popular and successful over the years.
With the fifth installment in the works, producers Sajid Nadiadwala and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment promise, "Get ready for the biggest wave of laughter, madness, and entertainment!"
