This flick with Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna is still getting people into seats even after being out for over three weeks. Sure, it’s not pulling in quite as much cash as it did in the very beginning, but it’s still doing great.

On its 26th day (Tuesday), Chhaava raked in another Rs 5 crore, according to Sacnilk, which keeps tabs on how movies are doing. That's a bit of a dip from Monday when it made Rs 6 crore, but still not bad. Wednesday is looking like it will bring in less, maybe around 2 crore.

After a little less than a month, Chhaava has made a total of ₹530.95 crore! In India, it’s the first movie of 2025 to reach that number and only the eighth movie ever to do it. When it comes to Hindi movies, Chhaava is the fourth fastest to this achievement, behind Stree 2 (22 days), Jawan (18 days), and Pushpa 2 (11 days).

It looks like Chhaava will make more than Pathaan, the Shah Rukh Khan movie from 2023, which earned 543.22 crore. If it does, Chhaava will be the fourth highest-grossing Bollywood movie ever! After that, it will try to beat Animal with Ranbir Kapoor, which brought in 554 crore. But getting past Stree 2, which made 627.50 crore, seems unlikely.

So, what's Chhaava all about? It's a movie directed by Laxman Utekar and is a historical story about the life of Maratha King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and his tough fight with the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. Vicky Kaushal plays the Maratha king, Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife, Yesubai, and Akshaye Khanna plays Aurangzeb.
